Funding details
The board of a school or institution must send the approved overview of recorded count data and the assurance report to DUO by 30 June. This count data is the basis for the funding of the next calendar year.
Assurance report
An assurance report consists of:
- a statement that confirms that the recorded pupil numbers on the count date are correct.
- a statement by an accountant that this data is correct.
Steps to follow
- Send a copy of the certified overview of recorded count data and count form to the institution’s accountant.
- The accountant may make corrections on this copy.
- Send the approved overview and the assurance report, together with the annual report, to DUO by 30 June. Go to Annual reporting for instructions.
- In January, you will receive a letter on the information you have shared. Be sure to give the information in this letter to the school’s accountant.
Information for your institution’s accountant
The institution’s accountant needs details from:
- the school’s or institution’s pupil administration
- DUO’s overview of recorded count data
- the count form supplied by the school board
